Programmer / Analyst

OmniComm Systems is a rapidly growing commercial software vendor in search of people with Javascript and HTML skills who have attention to detail. The ideal candidate also has a high aptitude and interest in learning the pharmaceutical industry as well as development methodologies. There is plenty of growth in the company and in this position.

As a Programmer, Analyst you will work with our new core software to make script changes and build studies for clients nationwide. You will work with project managers to interpret specifications, build and modify the study parameters and submit them to Quality Assurance.

Initially the work will be much heavier on programming skills. However the right candidate will have strong business analysis skills and will move into a position where programming is less important, but design and analysis skills are a majority of the work.

MUST HAVES

• EXPERIENCE WITH JAVASCRIPT
• Expert problem-solver with attention to detail
• Good business acumen. Willing to learn the business end of our application
• Good common sense and responsibility
• Solid troubleshooting skills
• An independent worker with good documentation practices
• Entrepreneurial spirit

TECHNOLOGY

• Visual Basic 6.0 or better (1 year minimum)
• ASP (1 year minimum)
• Javascript (1 year minimum)
• VBScript (1 year minimum)
• XML/XSLT/CSS (6 months minimum)
• SQL (2 years minimum)
• .Net (a plus)
• Microsoft Development Environment (2 years minimum)
• Client-Server/Web applications (2 years minimum)
• MSSQL Server 2000 or better (1 year minimum)
• Internet Information Services (1 year minimum)

EDUCATION

• Bachelor degree in Comp Science plus three years experience or equivalent.
