Inc. As Senior Vice President Of Professional Services
Senior healthcare executive poised to spearhead electronic data capture (EDC) technology
transfer services for government institutions and leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology,
medical device and CRO companies

marketplace, today announced that, effective July 9, 2007, Ken Light will be joining
OmniComm’s management team and will be responsible for leading the delivery
of technology transfer and implementation services for customers seeking on-site
adoption of EDC technology.

Oracle Corporation where he oversaw clinical software implementation activities
for major pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations including Abbott, Biogen
Idec, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, National Cancer Institute,
Schering-Plough, Roche, Pfizer and Wyeth, along with numerous small to mid-size
organizations. He also developed business solutions surrounding the Oracle Pharmaceutical
Application suite including implementation and validation approaches, training strategies,
custom software solutions, migration and consolidation methods, remote data capture
services and project management methods. Before joining Oracle, Ken was Practice
Director, Clinical Technology for First Consulting Group where he established Centers
of Excellence focused on clinical trial and adverse events IT solutions. Mr. Light
received an M.S., Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has delivered
a multitude of educational industry presentations at meetings such as the DIA, EDC
and Beyond, ACRP and the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.
