OmniComm Systems, Inc.
Fort Lauderdale, FL, May 19, 2016 - OmniComm Systems, Inc. (“OmniComm”) (OTCQX: OMCM), a global leading provider of clinical data management technology, held its inaugural European customer summit. The two day event provided a forum for OmniComm customers to network, share current innovations, best practices and demonstrate the transformative impact of OmniComm’s technology on clinical development and research. The Innovation Forum was held at the Centre of Human Drug Research, co-located with OmniComm Systems’ office in Leiden, The Netherlands.
“The OmniComm Innovation Forum really resonates with our values at CHDR,” states Adam Cohen, director, Centre for Human Drug Research. “The reliable service they provide combined with continuous innovation and creativity is familiar to us, so hosting this event was a real pleasure."
The Innovation Forum provided attendees from 20 companies with an opportunity to network and socialize with other OmniComm clients. Attendees were given an early look at upcoming product enhancements, features and innovations for TrialOne® and TrialMaster® EDC. OmniComm staff particularly enjoyed meeting clients in person and receiving suggestions on what new features should be considered for future releases.
OmniComm customers presented their best practices covering the depth and breadth of OmniComm’s TrialMaster® EDC and TrialOne® innovations. Topics included:
- automated clinical adjudication for adverse events that improves the timelines and efficiency of the adjudication process
- risk-based monitoring that decreases site visit time and optimizes resource availability
- use of the auto redaction capability for informed consent allowing for centralized monitoring during a multi-country trial
- eSource and direct instrumentation data capture within an early phase clinic, and
- the use of the only EDC embedded data export utility tool for data export, transformation and manipulation
“We’re thrilled to get our European clients together for the first time at this unique event,” said Kuno van der Post, senior vice president of business development at OmniComm Systems. “Our goal with the Innovation Forum is to provide valuable content to our clients that will help them take advantage of the trends in the industry and their investment in OmniComm’s technology.
